Which of the following goals is on your wish list for 2011?
If you said “Yes!” to one or more of these goals, then you need to get to the Voice Over Boot Camp so you can shortcut your success by learning from one the most successful, most experienced voice talents in the nation and her team of industry experts.
A personal note from Susan Berkley
Although I’m a little embarrassed to talk about my success lest you think I’m bragging, it’s important for you to know that everything I teach is based on personal experience. I’ve been a full-time voice-over artist since 1987. I have my own recording studio in Englewood Cliffs, NJ (just for the private use of my company) and a full-time staff. I’m one of the voices that says “Thank you for using AT&T” and the telephone voice of Citibank, among others. I’ve been featured on CNBC, in Business Week, in the NY Times and on TV’s “To Tell The Truth.”
When I started my voice over career I was a debt-ridden disc jockey working at demeaning part time jobs just to make ends meet. At one point I had a telemarketing job where I actually sold deodorant crystals to funeral homes! You can’t get any lower than that.
Then, one day, everything changed.
I realized (the hard way) that if I wanted to become successful at voice-over I’d have to do a lot more than just sending out a few demos and waiting for the phone to ring. There are secrets to enjoying a lucrative voice over business with a steady stream of loyal customers. Some of these secrets are practical, tactical things you should be doing every day. But there’s also a more important, little-known mindset you have to adopt in order to succeed.
The psychological underpinnings of this mindset are based on the work of a prominent Brazilian psychoanalyst named Dr. Norberto Keppe. I met him in 1982 and have been a student ever since. Dr. Keppe’s methodology has some surprising applications to voice over, teaching us how to avoid self-sabotaging attitudes that can prevent us from achieving our goals. In this Bootcamp, I’ll introduce you to this incredible school of thought and share some key distinctions that will help you gain confidence and increase your chances for success.
What’s This All About?
It’s about shortcutting your path to voice over success by learning what’s working RIGHT NOW for beginning and emerging voice talent so you don’t have to fight to get ahead…
It’s about discovering exciting and lucrative voice over opportunities that others are cashing in on right now that you may be overlooking…
It’s about finally doing something wonderful with that great voice of yours and taking action to make your voice over dreams a reality!
I’m only making the opportunity available to a very small group of 25 people when tickets go on sale on October 5. Purchase your ticket on October 5 (date of 1 day sale) and I’ll reward you with a Whopping $500 Fast Action Discount!
My Voice Over Bootcamp is a unique experience unlike any other voice over training you may have attended for a number of reasons. Let me highlight the ones that are most important to you:
First of all, this event is entirely focused on one thing and one thing only: helping you get started in voice over or enhance an existing career without wasting your time or money
My Voice Over Bootcamp IS about being an active participant in a fun, unique and extremely productive recording studio environment to help you get started by doing the RIGHT things instead of spinning your wheels, getting discouraged or following bad advice.
It IS about putting in place a step by step plan for getting started in voice over ; to equip you with the performance and marketing skills you need and real world, proven strategies that work – not opinions, theories or hype.
It is also about you getting to spend 3 full days in the recording studio with world class instructors and a warm, supportive group of 25 great voices, beginners and emerging talent just like you who want to experience the fun and freedom of the voice over lifestyle.
My special guests include:
Adriana Davis: Producer: D-Squared Media
Corporate audio is a multi-billion-dollar industry, but few people know about this mysterious and lucrative world. Crack the code and you can work steadily doing non-broadcast industrials for corporations, long form narrations and documentaries for film and television. My guest Adriana Davis of d-Squared Media is an award winning producer of industrials and documentaries, including: "The Last Jews of Baghdad: End of an Exile, Beginning of a Journey". She produces corporate videos, promotional packages, commercials and radio programming; you’ll read for Adriana on mic and learn special techniques for complicated technical copy. Plus, she’ll share her tips for marketing yourself to producers of corporate industrials and documentaries. Past attendees say this one session alone is worth the price of admission.
Moneen Daley Harte
has been behind major market microphones for 23 years, including a job as host of an afternoon drive oldies show in Boston. She has been doing voice work full time since 1999 from her own on site recording studio while raising her 2 young children (who at ages 5 and 3 already have excellent mic techniques)! Career highlights include co-hosting “Morning Magic” with the Emmy award winning Tom Bergeron (host of Dancing with the Stars), receiving a standing ovation after narrating “Twas the Night Before Christmas” with the Boston Pops and many up close and very personal celebrity moments with Rosie O’Donnell, Joy Behar, Tony Randall, Meatloaf and Toby Keith (not all at once of course)! Moneen has done narration work for National Geographic, The Monitor Group and Harvard Business School of Publishing.
