Voice Over Bootcamp Sept 24 – 26, 2010 New York City

"What do Mariah Carey, John Mayer, Madonna and (maybe) YOU have in common?"

They've all recorded at beautiful QUAD Studios in New York City where we're having our next Voice over Bootcamp in September !!

Dear Friend,

I've upgraded the Voice over Bootcamp experience and booked the most top-of-the-line, state-of-the art recording studio I could find...Quad Studios at Times Square in New York City!

This is the same studio where Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, John Mayer and Train have recorded their chart busting hits.

Good vibes for your voice over career?

I think so!

I mean, this place is so exclusive, so elite, you can't even get through the locked doors at street level without a concierge to take you up to the breathtaking 10th floor studios. And when you join me for my next Voice over Bootcamp in New York City September 24 - 26, Quad Studios will be ours!

Get ready for your big break at my next Voice over Bootcamp, September 24 - 26 in New York City at famous Quad Recording Studios.

Maybe your spouse has been bugging you to finally do something with that great voice of yours, maybe you're thinking of voice over as a great home based business, maybe you don't want to sit in a rocking chair when you retire. Maybe you spend all day behind a computer feeling like your life has become dull and gray.

I understand.

"I just booked a spot for Cincinnati Bell! Your Bootcamp and guidance helped me remain calm and have fun during the session"
"I just booked a spot for Cincinnati Bell and the client loved what I did during the session. I credit you, your advice and guidance over the years, and the experience I had at your Bootcamp for remaining calm and having fun during this session! Believe it or not I was more nervous trying to find the studio than I was during the session, I was totally relaxed." Lance DeBock, Tom's River, NJ

"I now have a clear blueprint for success"
"Like you, I read the bootcamp testimonials on Susan's website and wondered if this was the real deal. I now find myself writing one. Let's be honest...in today's economy, we are all trying to make smart choices with our money. Susan Berkley's voiceover Bootcamp is a SMART INVESTMENT. Susan and Moneen were very gracious and forthcoming with valuable industry information, a proven marketing plan, honest coaching and directing, and so much more. The key take-away for me was that it's not about the sound of your voice so much as what you do with it and how to market it. That is exactly what I learned in bootcamp and I now have a clear blueprint for success. Not to mention, I made some great friends! Don't hesitate...do this today...you will not be disappointed!" Lisa Hisscock, Franklin, TN

It's a good feeling when your career takes off and you have recording sessions every day. And it also feels good when the day is over and you gratefully realize you made as much money in a couple of hours (while loving every minute of it) than many people make in an entire week at a dead-end job.

Of course, I can't guarantee how successful you'll be in voice over or how much work you'll book. But, I can promise that my guests and I will hold nothing back, leave no question unanswered and do everything we can to share the information, tips and techniques that will greatly increase your chances for success.

"Well Worth Every Penny"
"I just took Susan Berkley's Voice over Bootcamp and I found it to be incredibly helpful and I learned a lot of great things. I have been working in radio for fifteen years now and doing voice overs is a whole different animal, contrary to what some people in radio may think. Even though people thought I was going in as a ringer. That was not the case. I've gained a lot of valuable information and been able to apply what I learned already. I am ready to go out there and try some of the marketing that Susan taught me. Definitely take the Bootcamp. It is well worth every penny and then some." Jon Thomas, Forest Hills, NY

Meet your coach Susan Berkley, voice of AT&T

Although I'm a little embarrassed to talk about my success, lest you think I'm bragging, it's important for you to know that everything I teach is based on personal experience. I'm one of the voices that says "Thank you for using AT&T" and the telephone voice of Citibank, among others. I've been featured on CNBC, in Business Week, in the NY Times and on TV's "To Tell the Truth". I was even the behind-the-scenes expert presentation skills coach on Donald Trump's Apprentice helping to coach the winning Apprentice to victory.

But it didn't used to be this way.

When I started my voice over career I was a debt-ridden disc jockey working at demeaning part-time jobs just to make ends meet. At one point I had a telemarketing job where I actually sold deodorant crystals to funeral homes! You can't get any lower than that.

Then everything changed.

I realized (the hard way) that if I wanted to become successful at voice over, I'd have to do a lot more than just send out a few demos and wait for the phone to ring. There are secrets to enjoying a lucrative voice over business with a steady stream of loyal customers. Some of these secrets are practical, tactical things you should be doing every day. But, there's also a more important, little-known mindset you have to adopt in order to succeed.

The psychological underpinnings of this mindset are based on the work of a prominent Brazilian psychoanalyst named Dr. Norberto Keppe. I met him in 1982 and have been a student ever since. Dr. Keppe's methodology has some surprising applications to voice over, teaching us how to avoid self-sabotaging attitudes that can prevent us from achieving our goals. In this Bootcamp, I'll introduce you to this incredible school of thought and share some key distinctions that will help you gain confidence and increase your chances for success.

You must act fast!

Because I prefer to work with a small, select group of people where everyone can get lots of personal attention, seating is limited to the first 25 people who call, and I mean it. If you're person #26, I'll have to put you on a waiting list or turn you away.

My Special Guests Include:

Adriana Davis: Producer: D-Squared Media
Corporate audio is a multi-billion-dollar industry, but few people know about this mysterious and lucrative world. Crack the code and you can work steadily doing non-broadcast industrials for corporations, long form narrations and documentaries for film and television. My guest Adriana Davis of d-Squared Media is an award winning producer of industrials and documentaries. Adriana has created two documentaries, "The Life of Frank Iny: A Granddaughter's Journey" and "The Last Jews of Baghdad: End of an Exile, Beginning of a Journey" that have been featured at international film festivals and on public television. She produces corporate videos, promotional packages, commercials and radio programming. You'll read for Adriana on mic and learn special techniques for complicated technical copy. Plus, she'll share her tips for marketing yourself to producers of corporate industrials and documentaries. Past attendees say this one session alone is worth the price of admission.

Moneen Daley Harte
Moneen Daley Harte has been behind major market microphones for 23 years, including a job as host of an afternoon drive oldies show in Boston. She has been doing voice work full time since 1999 from her own onsite recording studio while raising her 2 young children (who at ages 5 and 3 already have excellent mic techniques)! Career highlights include co-hosting "Morning Magic" with the Emmy award winning Tom Bergeron (host of Dancing with the Stars), receiving a standing ovation after narrating "Twas the Night Before Christmas" with the Boston Pops and many up close and very personal celebrity moments with Rosie O'Donnell, Joy Behar, Tony Randall, Meatloaf and Toby Keith (not all at once of course)! Moneen has done narration work for National Geographic, The Monitor Group and Harvard Business School of Publishing. Her broadcast and telephony clients include: McDonalds, Comcast and Jaguar Credit. Moneen has also taught radio performance for 10 years at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and has been a requested guest lecturer at Emerson College and Suffolk University.

Frankly, for all the information I am sharing, all the secrets my guests and I will reveal and the incredible studio experience you're getting, I must be crazy for pricing this Bootcamp so low. And by the way, although I can't guarantee it, you might just make back the price of this workshop in your first few bookings.

I am on my way!

"The Bootcamp was great fun - an amazing learning experience and wonderfully empowering. I am on my way to what I know will be an exciting, new successful career"!! Judy Roth, Souderton, PA

Thanks for Getting Me Started!

I was so grateful for the BootCamp ... not only was it encouraging to me as to my entering this field (I was very pleased with the MP3 which Jason sent me today), but also enlightening about the marketing end of things. And again, your presentation of this work has the positive moral tone that makes it possible for me to participate. As I'm a full-time Pastor, I'll be easing into this, beginning with working with you all (including Moneen "next door") to produce a demo. Thanks for getting me started, and I'll look forward to learning and working with you in the future. Len Cowan, Northborough, PA

I Can Do This!

I just want to say thank you for the opportunity that the boot camp afforded me. I now have a sense of direction for getting into the VOICE ACTING BUSINESS. I'm looking forward to taking advantage of the Private Coaching Fast Track Program in the near future.. I would like to take advantage of this beginning January 2009. For the first time I feel I have attended a true bootcamp. I left there knowing I can do this business and that I had learned concrete steps to follow in order to begin. Again - thank you, Cora Turner, Milwaukee, WI

Great Credibility!

"Oh, I had the jitters. I had the adrenaline going for me. I had to shake it all out. But I thought it was great. I had this trepidation of trying to find something that I could go to where I wasn't wasting my money, where I would get good industry contacts, good feedback, someone who has been around the block, who is still in the industry and who could tell me really what it is we should be doing as beginners. When I looked at Susan's website I saw some of the credits. AT&T, I saw the CNBC clip that she did, I saw a local news spot in the NY market that she did. So, immediately that brings credibility. " - Michael Valentin, N. Bellmore, NY

Professionals Make a Big Difference!

"A lot of us have thought about voice over and have been told for years that we have some kind of talent. We just haven't had a chance to just get up and do it until now. Bringing in these professionals makes a really big difference too and getting feedback from them. " Larry Devron, Springfield, VA
